    • Gen 2 Standard App enablement (hidden/beta)

Scope Details

1) GEOPost Support Tickets — Bug Fixes

2) CHR Deliverables — Inspection App Enhancements

  • Review Mode & Guided Validation: Users are directed to unanswered fields with visual highlights and auto-expand of relevant sections to speed up completion.

  • Section Progress & Scoring: Section-level indicators and points-based scoring improve auditability and progress tracking.

  • Expand/Collapse All & Metrics Overview: Faster navigation on long forms; consolidated metrics bottom sheet for at-a-glance completion.

  • Geolocated Site Defaults: On-site users get suggested site pre-filled to reduce manual entry and errors.

3) Gen 2 Standard App — Platform Support (Hidden/Beta)

  • Core Gen 2 foundations activated in production but hidden behind direct URLs for controlled testing with partners/internal users.

  • Key capabilities prepared: new Records entity, modern form layout architecture, section fields, conditional logic, bulk edit/import/export, and action/inspection parity workstreams.

  • Isolation from Gen 1: Gen 2 routes and APIs are separated to avoid cross-impact. Gen 1 remains the default user experience.

Known State: Gen 2 features are pre-release and may be unstable. Access is intentionally restricted (no menu exposure). Use only for structured beta exercises.

Quality Assurance Summary

  • Gen 1 Stability & Regression: Executed automated smoke suites complemented by targeted manual verification to ensure core platform stability and no regressions following underlying updates.

  • Client Use Cases: Successfully validated critical workflows for DPD Lost & Found, DPD Content Check, and Bergerat, ensuring no disruption to existing Gen 1 services.

  • CHR Audits & Inspection Flow: Rigorous validation of all CHR enhancements against defined acceptance criteria, including end-to-end testing of real-world inspection scenarios and critical data transitions.

Non-goals: Comprehensive Gen 2 hardening is not included in this cycle; only smoke checks were performed for beta entry.

Risk, Mitigations, and Rollback

  • Gen 2 Instability: Hidden access minimizes user exposure. Monitoring enabled; issues can be isolated without affecting Gen 1

  • Rollback Plan: For critical incidents, revert to pre-release image and disable related toggles. Data migration is forward-compatible; no destructive schema changes to Gen 1 flows.

Known Issues (Current Release)

  • Gen 2 instability under heavy form interactions (conditional logic + media) may cause intermittent UI slowdowns or sync retries.

  • Beta routes are not navigable via main menus; only direct URL access supported during trial period.

Operational Readiness

  • Monitoring: Sentry crash/error dashboards and API latency monitors active, google cloud logging; triage rotation informed.

  • Access Control: Gen 2 routes restricted to beta participants (internal/partners/select customers); please do not share URLs broadly.
