Overview
Speech-to-text, also known as voice recognition or speech recognition, is a technology that converts spoken words into written text, enabling people to use their voice instead of typing.
Currently, mobile users need to go through a few steps to activate the speech-to-text functionality from their phone's keyboard, which can be cumbersome for field workers who need to operate the app with their hands full or while wearing gloves. Adding a speech-to-text button directly on each text field of an application can provide a more streamlined and efficient way for users to input text data.
