WizyVision's Digital Asset Center (DAC) employs a hierarchical structure to manage and organize digital assets efficiently. This structure revolves around three main elements: Domains, Categories, and Tags. This article aims to help you understand these elements and how they interact within the DAC.

Domains

Domains act as the top-level folders in the DAC. They group related categories together and form the main entry point for users to explore digital assets. A domain could correspond to a specific department, project, or any other logical division within your organization.

Categories

Within each Domain, we have Categories. Categories are the second tier in the DAC hierarchy and provide an additional layer of organization within a domain. They group related tags together under a common theme or type, making it easier for users to navigate and find specific assets. Categories could correspond to specific tasks, asset types, or any other useful subgroup within a domain.

Tags

Tags are the most granular level in the DAC hierarchy. They are directly associated with individual digital assets, such as images or documents. Tags are used to label assets with descriptive and searchable keywords, enabling users to quickly find and group assets based on specific criteria. Tags can be added manually by users or automatically through AI-powered object detection models.

How It All Works Together

The real power of the DAC hierarchy lies in its flexibility and interconnectedness. Assets can carry multiple tags, making them appear under multiple categories within a domain.

Let's look at examples of Domains, Categories, and Tags for each of these industries:
