How to Integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) in WizyVision

 

WizyVision offers seamless integration with Single Sign-On (SSO) systems, allowing users to log in to WizyVision using their existing credentials. This integration simplifies user authentication and enhances security by leveraging your organization's SSO solution. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of integrating SSO in WizyVision using the OpenID Connect (OIDC) standard.

 

Prerequisites

Before you begin the integration process, make sure you have the following information from your SSO provider:

  • Authorization URL: The URL where WizyVision will redirect users for authentication.
  • Token URL: The URL to obtain an access token after successful authentication.
  • User Info URL: The URL to fetch user information from the SSO system.
  • Client ID: A unique identifier assigned by the SSO provider for WizyVision.
  • Client Secret: A secret key provided by the SSO provider for secure communication with WizyVision.

 

Integration Steps

To integrate SSO in WizyVision, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to WizyVision with your admin account.
  2. Navigate to the Admin section and select "Settings" from the menu.
  3. In the Settings page, click on the "Integrations" tab.
  4. Locate the "SSO Login" section 
  5. Enter the required information in the respective fields:
    • Authorization URL

    • Client Secret
  6. Once you have entered the information, click on the "Save" button to apply the SSO integration settings.

Testing the integration

After setting up the SSO integration, you can test the SSO login in both the web and mobile platforms.

Testing SSO Login in Web

To test the SSO login in the web platform, follow these steps:

  1. Access your account's URL in the web browser.
  2. You will be automatically redirected to the SSO login page.
  3. Provide your SSO credentials to authenticate.
  4. Upon successful authentication, you will be redirected back to WizyVision and logged in automatically.

Testing SSO Login in Mobile

To test the SSO login in the mobile platform, follow these steps:

  1. Open the WizyVision mobile app on your device.
  2. On the login screen, click the "Login via SSO" button.
  3. Enter your SSO account ID in the provided field.
  4. Tap the "Login" button.
  5. You will be automatically redirected to the SSO login page within the app.
  6. Provide your SSO credentials to authenticate.
  7. Upon successful authentication, you will be redirected back to WizyVision and logged in automatically.
